What is this platform?

This platform is designed for serious collectors, institutions, and art dealers to pre-register for exclusive access to 16 original artworks by Yaacov Agam. The pre-registration process helps determine interest levels and select qualified buyers for the sale.

Are the artworks available for direct purchase?

No. The current phase is for pre-registration only. Buyers can express interest and go through the vetting process. The final sale format (Auction or Sealed Bidding) will be determined based on demand.

How does the pre-registration process work?

Their story is further distinguished by a unique chapter of direct artist validation. Following their creation in Paris and Tel Aviv and in collaboration with a New Zealand-based technology partner, Yaacov Agam himself undertook a dedicated four-month journey to New Zealand. Here, he personally reviewed, inspected, approved, and hand-signed each of the 16 masterworks.

This act of final artistic endorsement on New Zealand soil imbues the collection with an unparalleled layer of provenance. To affirm this, all Qualified Collectors will be granted secure, time-limited access to the authentication materials, which include video footage/images of Agam signing the artworks and detailed provenance records.

The acquisition is structured in two distinct phases to ensure a professional and orderly event:

  • Phase 1: Preview & Qualification (Currently Active):During this final period, prospective participants are invited to view the online catalogue and submit an application for qualification. Our team conducts a thorough manual review of each application.
  • Phase 2: Private Auction (Commences soon):Access to the live bidding stage is strictly limited to participants who have successfully completed the qualification process.

To be eligible to participate in the private auction, applicants must complete our formal vetting process. This procedure is designed to create an environment of absolute trust. The requirements include:

  • Identity Verification:Submission of a valid passport or official identification document.
  • Financial Qualification:Confirmation of capacity for acquisitions of this calibre, via standard methods such as institutional references or proof of funds.
  • Buyer Confidentiality Agreement (BCA):The execution of a legally binding non-disclosure agreement to protect the privacy of all participants and the sensitive details of the sale.

The sale will be conducted as a private, timed auction exclusively for Qualified Collectors, running for a 7 day period. The auction is managed on a secure platform

Beyond the final hammer price, successful acquisitions are subject to a standard Buyer’s Premium. The winning bidder is also responsible for any applicable taxes ( if any at all) and the costs of shipping and transit insurance from New Zealand.

We treat client confidentiality with the utmost importance. Your participation is protected at every stage. The mandatory Buyer Confidentiality Agreement (BCA) legally ensures non-disclosure, and the auction itself is a private, invitation-only event. All data is managed in strict compliance with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020.

The formal qualification period is in its final days. We urge any serious collector wishing to participate to submit their application without delay. This will ensure our team has sufficient time to conduct its thorough review process before the auction commences on shortly. Please be advised that we cannot guarantee applications received in the final 48 hours prior to the auction start will be processed in time for participation.
